J5 relies on your donations

For those that are unable to contribute within the requested donation ranges, consider your participation with the materials in the J5 Library, referring others to J5, and attending non-sacrament events a form of contribution to the organization that can substitute financial support.

No one is turned away purely due to their donation level.

Sacrament Sessions are booked on an 90-min timeslot schedule.

You can bring trusted sitters or co-participants that go through the member intake as well.

Longer, back to back bookings are recommended for people wanting a slow ramp up or deeper dives.

Requested Donation Ranges

Lake Harriet Release Session - $200-$400 per 90-min slot

Sacred Cedars Sessions - $150-$300 per 90-min slot

Office Sessions (seeking location) - $100-$200 per 90-min slot

Prep/Integration Call - $0-$50 per 30 minutes

(If there is a waitlist, deposits of $50 or greater will reserve a slot)

Cash or Venmo donations are both fine.

Below is the desired expense budget of the organization (salary is reduced to match revenue), explaining the scope of practice and structuring that make our work possible.

Any additional financial support you can offer helps maintain the consistency and quality of J5 offerings.

For large donations, we take checks and ACH. We are happy to provide our EIN and state registration if you wish. Church donations are tax-deductible as a 501(c)(3).

• Minister Full-time Salary — $5,000

  • Executive operations:

    • Communications, organizational structuring, scheduling, legal compliance/defense, financial accounting, sacrament accounting, creative direction, design+marketing, reporting to the board

  • Member ministry:

    • Sacrament sessions, intake forms/screening, Prep/integration calls, Intro calls, J5 Meetups, Remembrance Circles, team meetings/training, education

• Minister Housing Allowance — $2,000 (designated as IRS §107 housing allowance)

• Office space and ceremony venues — $1,040

  • Zen Den monthly rent — $800

  • Sanctuary rental — $240

  • Sacred Cedars (seasonal) — $400 (annualized)

• Office and ceremony materials — $50 per month averaged over the year

  • Blankets replacement and cleaning, backjack replacement, buckets, tissues, candles, incense

• Hired services and consultants — $428

  • Bookkeeping — $360

  • Payroll — $68

  • Digital subscriptions — $186

  • Email service — $6

  • QuickBooks — $32

  • Zoom — $18

  • Cloud storage — $0

  • Webhosting, development, and maintenance — $60

  • Homecoming (HIPAA-compliant comms, scheduling, intake) — $50
